If you follow this blog, then you know the power of the Daraja students. And by winning the Girl Effect Challenge, we will get an even bigger audience paying attention to these remarkable girls.

The Girl Effect is a campaign launched by the Nike Foundation. It has been featured in the New York Times, Forbes and CNN as a leader in the movement to invest in girls. The Girl Effect’s two short films have received nearly a million views each. Bill Clinton has highlighted the Girl Effect two years in a row at the Clinton Global Initiative. Now, Daraja has been given a chance to be part of the Girl Effect in 2012.

We have been selected to compete in the final round of the Girl Effect Challenge and it’s an opportunity that we can’t afford to lose.

On Saturday, October 15th, we will post the link showing you exactly where you can help. Click here to get the email notification. We can do this!
