Daraja Clubs in the U.S. and beyond are gaining momentum… fast!

Inspired primary, high school and college students around the world are learning that not all of their global peers have access to a free education and they have decided to do something about it. During the process of helping the cause they are also learning about their own power and how they can personally affect grassroots change.
The Daraja Club at Woodside Priory School was the very first Daraja Club and their enthusiasm drove a large
scale fundraising event and auction that raised over $30,000 that really helped Daraja Academy off the ground.
At Hogan High School in Vallejo, California, Daraja Club president senior Ashley Murphy won Student of the Year while overseeing a coin drive that has paid for an entire year of schooling, room and board for a deserving Daraja student.
Another group of Daraja Academy supporters are the WIT Kids (Whatever It Takes) of San Diego County. One group of elementary aged WIT Kids held a talent show and donated all of the ticket money to the Daraja Water Campaign.
These remarkable students around the globe are literally changing the World, one girl at a time, and the best part is… anyone can get involved.
